Kourtney and Scott might not look too happy here, but we doubt things are so bad that they’re breaking out the lawyers for a custody battle.
We all know Kim Kardashian is a cash cow. The media is always hungry for more of her — and they’re willing to shell out major moolah to get it.
Apparently, all that doesn’t end with the media. Even Kim’s sister Kourtney’s boyfriend, Scott Disick, is trying to cash in on the gorgeous Armenian’s super popularity. Disick reportedly received a hefty $15,000 for an appearance Kim made last November at the Chelsea Room in NYC. The only problem? Kim wasn’t in on the deal!
Kourtney and Kim attended the event for a male performance-enhancing drug Scott was promoting to be “supportive family members,” according to The New York Post. No monetary agreements were made, and Kim was completely unaware that Scott was making major bucks off her showing off her, um, assets. What’s more is the appearance was filmed for an episode ofKourtney and Kim Take New York, and under E!’s contract, no appearances made while filming require monetary compensation. But Scott told the Chelsea Room that if they put the money down, not only would Kim show up, but the club would end up on the episode. (Hello, free advertising!)
According to one source, Kim didn’t know that Scott had signed a deal to make money off the appearance. Another source told The New York Post Scott has no remorse about using Kim for cash (big surprise there!). "He doesn't see anything wrong. He thinks he is being a businessman. There's no way he's doing anything for free,” the source says. Okay, Scott, but you’re not the one doing anything — Kim is!
