MTV may have dropped Lauren Conrad's new reality show back in February -- but the former Hills starlet has already landed a hot new gig!
Conrad has just signed a major book deal with HarperCollins! LC's debut novel, LA Candy, hit number 1 on the New York Times bestseller list -- and we're sure her new book series will be just as successful!
The new trilogy, entitled The Fame Game, will center around LA Candy's villainous character Madison Parker. As you may remember from the original series, Parker is a ruthless rising starlet who's ready to become a star in her own right -- and she'll do whatever it takes to make it happen!
The 25-year-old reality star opened up to Us Weekly about her new endeavor, saying, "this series is about a girl who loves everything that fame is, and that's all she's ever really wanted," Conrad explained. "[Madison] has fun with the press, she enjoys the attention, she welcomes scandal!" Sounds dramatic!
