Bonnie has some competition! Lisa Tucker has been cast as Luka’s witchy sister, Greta.
Witch Greta Tucker (Lisa Tucker) will make her debut on tonight’s new Vampire Diariesepisode. And if you thought Klaus was the only bad ass en route to Mystic Falls, think again!
Tucker (that’s the real one) recently chatted with Hollywood Life about her character, whom she describes as “sassy, cool, smart, and a bit of a thrill-seeker,” and spilled some juicy deets about her arc.
First off, Greta is very p-o’ed about the way her family bit the dust — and rightfully so. “Greta isn’t too pleased when she discovers her father and brother both died at the hands of Mystic Falls vampires,” Tucker says. Better sleep with one eye open, Damon and Stefan! (Oh, wait. Vampires don’t sleep! You still better watch your backs, boys!)
Whether Greta takes revenge on the fanged boys remains to be seen, but if she does, Tucker warns it won’t be pretty. “Greta is not someone you want to mess with,” Tucker says. “A lot of the witches on the show follow tradition very closely, but Greta’s definitely her own witch. She’s very powerful.”
We still don’t know which side she’s on for sure, but we do know this: We feel sorry for whoever has to answer to this bad witch!
