Owl City's Adam Young Says He's Still Crushing on Taylor Swift

In February, Owl City's Adam Young sent an "enchanted" musical valentine to Taylor Swift, but she never responded. However, the singer-songwriter says he's still crushing on the country star.

In an exclusive interview with Aol Music Blog, Adam admits he was "freaking out" when he saw his name in Taylor's 'Speak Now' liner notes, but didn't expect the 21-year-old star to reply to his romantic gesture.

"I'm definitely a shy guy. So that was the one moment where I could get up the nerve and get the courage to talk to her," he says of creating the Valentine's Day song. "But she never actually did respond. I was never really expecting to hear a response per se, but it was a fun thing to do. I think she's such a sweet girl."

Despite Taylor's silence, Adam says he only has eyes for the ACM award winner. Sorry, girls, but right now, the Owl City frontman doesn't have any other crushes.

"I think [Taylor Swift] is the only one," he says. "I first met her in New York, and there's just something about her that it's so hard for me to find the words because she's so gorgeous and so exquisite and so eloquent it was so hard to come up with the right words. And now that I step back and look around at who else is out there, she's really the only one who comes to mind."

Okay, but what would it take to win Adam's heart if you're not Taylor Swift? Find out in Aol Music Blog's full interview here. Owl City's new album, 'All Things Bright and Beautiful,' will be available in stores and on iTunes on June 14.
