You already saw Blake Lively’s (Serena)strawberry blonde hair at the Time 100 Gala on Tuesday, April 26, but did you hear about her wardrobe malfunction? Don’t get too excited — it wasn’t of the Janet Jackson variety.
Jada Yuan, a writer for New York Magazine, tweeted at the affair: “Breaking: @PatrickMcMullan stepped on Blake Lively’s dress and ripped off the entire train. She’s in bathroom w/ safety pins #time100.”
Yikes! Famed photographer Patrick McMullan accidentally trod on Blake’s aquamarine Zuhair Murad gown as she scurried toward her seat. Martha Stewart spotted Patrick walking away with the train stuck to his shoe like toilet paper, and commanded, “Patrick! Give her back her train!” Patrick, realizing what happened, returned the detached train to Blake. Fortunately, the dress looked great with and without it!
Blake simply smiled and let everyone know it would be fine: She had safety pins. Way to be prepared, girl!

Blake Lively: "Train"-Wreck at the Time 100 Gala
On Tuesday, April 26, Blake Lively stepped out for the Time 100 Gala at Lincoln Center in NYC. The Gossip Girl beauty — who was honored as one of the mag's most influential people of year— not only wowed in a Zuhair Murad haute couture gown, but stunned the crowd with her brand new auburn-colored hair. Blake explained the sudden change, saying: "It's for the filmHick. I thought [my character] needed red hair. It helps when you're playing a role, when you don't feel like yourself."
Though Blake's hair certainly drew some stares, it was hard to notice over her numerous wardrobe mishaps. B couldn't stop tripping over the train of her gown as she made her way down the red carpet. In fact, it became such an issue, photographer Patrick McMullan even stepped on the dress, accidentally ripping off the train! Thank God Blake looked amazing with or without it!
