The cast of Pretty Little Liars said buh-bye to their summer vacation this week. Filming for the second half of their season started on Sept. 1, and Lucy Hale was so pumped that she couldn't stop posting behind-the-scenes photos on Twitter.
Troian Bellisario probably took a page out of Lucy's book and also couldn't wait to jump back into her work routine. How come she was so eager to start reading scripts and memorizing overachiever Spencer's lines again? Because her break from the show left her with nothing to do. (So not Spencer like at all!)
"Is it weird to do a yoga class AND a jazz class in the same day? Cause I'm going to. No I'm not bored at all," Troian tweeted on Aug. 10.
Once Shay Mitchell fell back into the swing of things on set, she teased fans of the show by leaking, "Big scenes tomorrow... you guys are going to love this episode! Night night, sleep tight." Don't leave us hanging like that!
Brant Daugherty, who plays Aria's rebound Noel, had an early wakeup call for his first day back, but he didn't mind too much.
Brant tweeted, "5 am came very quickly this morning. First day back in Rosewood! So excited." After reuniting with her latest on-screen boy toy, Lucy continued her Twitter photo mission and made sure to snap a (blurry) photo with Brant.
Missing from the bunch was Hanna Marin. No, it wasn't due to one of A's devious plots...this time. Ashley Benson was still on the set of an ABC Family movie that she's been busy filming this summer.
On July 26, the California native tweeted, "For those asking...the movie is called Ex-mas Carol...it stars myself Christina Milian and Chad Michael Murray."
Still, she sent her co-stars love saying, "Missin @lucyyhale @shaymitch and @sleepinthegardn....have fun on your first day back!! See y'all sooooon."
Lucy responded, "get your cute self back to cali" and the next day posted another pic from the set -- this one proving that Aria and Ezra have more in common than their taste in music. She snapped a photo of the ex-hush hush couple sporting the same black Converse sneakers and captioned it, "Fitz/Montgomery shoe love."
