You should be able to buy heatsink gel at any serious computer store (not best buy, et al). Please be forewarned, I've never personally done that, but I know that stuff is out there.

I use one of those cheap ones for more than an year! I'm very satisfied. Although I had to modify it a little bit it costed me about 10$.
Interesting you say that. I had to modify mine as well to get my Vertex 2 to fit in the OptiBay. I had to shave down some of the plastic to get the screw slots to line up properly. The MCE OptiBay is kinda flimsy, but it does seem to work just fine.

I was lazily browsing through the sale flyers of my Sunday paper when a thought (the merit of which I'll leave for you to decide) occurred to me:
There is now heavy marketing of the fall fashions, which, as always, include sweaters. Now, these sweaters are quite colorful and come in a seemingly infinite array of patterns. As I surveyed the dizzying displays, I noted that it is widely accepted in many contexts of life to decorate one's torso with a colorfully patterned shirt, no matter the season. On the other hand, if one were to attempt wearing similarly expressive attire on his lower half, he would be mistaken for an out-of-touch golfer (or trendsetting one, depending on your perspective), a professional clown, perhaps, or someone who forgot to change out of his pajamas. Why is this? I do not believe that there is anything inherent in pants or the wearing of pants that would require them to stay below a specified level of colorfulness. How did it come about that we accept a colorful torso without question but have strong suspicions about the mental stability of one who wears expressive pants?
Just wondering what you all thought about that. Some may say that the combination of wild shirts with pants is too much, and I agree, but I ask why not have a plain shirt and wild pants? Why hasn't this reverse taken root instead of the norm? :confused:

In 90% of what we say, does it have any point to it? You say, "Hello." What's the Point? You already know that you know them, and they know that you know them; therefore is there any point in saying hello, if you can just smile, showing you've acknowledged them. It also may be referring to suicide, but I haven't read the context - Hellhammer, Herdfan: if you feel you're about to commit suicide, DON'T listen to Adele. :)
Basically, don't laugh at other people's mistakes; both of them were innocent mistakes - there's no need to point them out - they know what they did, even if it's subconscious - we know what they mean.

Stating that you are the least confident about networking, I would suggest that you try it out before going into the woods - you can disconnect your mac from the Internet for a while or shut down your router / Internet box.
Don't forget to enable web sharing to start your local web server and write a simple test page.
Then try reaching that with your iPhone/iPad.

OH MY GOD!!!! OK this only took 2 days to figure out.
My cable company (ssshhh Adelphia) does this thing called *Hardware Capture* which means the first computer to use the IP address in the only one that can. It saves the hardware code from your computer so it knows when it should and shouldn't ping it. Well i found this out and this is what i did.
1: I told them that I wanted to change my main computer to another, when I did that I hooked it up to the airport. And everything worked.

Good thread, I'm also fairly obsessed with tagging and artwork :D
Mine are sorted into 5 genres and then use groupings as a kind of sub genre.
Anything that has a featured artist is put into the comments field (I think it looks so much cleaner than if it's "Song Name (Ft. Some Artist)")
All Bonus Tracks, B-Sides and Music Videos are set to Disc 2 and have no track number and are unchecked so they don't carry on playing once the album is finished. They also have comments saying which single the B-Side came from etc.
As much as I love iTunes I find it quite frustrating as it could be so much better. I'd love to be able to tag each song with multiple genres, as you said it can be hard to lump them into one category. And I wish you could "tag" a song with a music video, so instead of having two entries for "The Dead Dog", you'd just have the song within the album and have the little video icon on the right, which you'd click if you want to watch the video (if that makes sense!) :D
And while I'm at it... year, record label, and country of origin in the album artwork column please :P

Drupal for me as well. We've created prototype web sites with all the bells and whistles (points, badges, rules, social media, forums, inbox, etc.) in next to no time. We were also able to create custom modules that tied into very regimented systems.
I haven't had a chance to look at 7 yet.

I am having to write a program that determines whether a number is a palindrome or not using Python Programming. The program uses an input function for the number and then returns the results. All the research I have done has turned out results with Java and other non Python programs. Any help is appreciated. Thank you:)

ahahah yah i know im late :D Its pretty rad though. For a 5 year old game, I am way impressed. Im only level 2, a sorcerer, and I am on my second side quest. I just made these villagers who were invisible, visible again. Way fun. I like it, and this is why I love rpg's. The world is indeed vast.
