Hanna Marin receives a revealing text message and it looks like her royal status could be in serious jeopardy (uh-oh).

It’s possible that “A” is multiple people since stalking the little liars is a lot of work. “A” is always around and knows the girls’ secrets, so it only makes sense that several spies are working together.
If “A” is in fact many people, we have a feeling that Ian (Ryan Merriman), Jenna (Tammin Sursok), and Garrett (Yani Gellman) are all part of the scheme. PLL Executive Producer Oliver Goldstick hinted that they all know each other and have a history with Alison. Also, it's strange that someone in a black hoodie knew Ian was in the church and pushed him off the bell tower at that exact moment. Right before Ian was pushed, he said, “What are you doing here?” to the person in the hoodie, so it seems like Ian was working with him or her.
Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) might also be part of the plan because Ian told Spencer (Troian Bellisario) that Melissa would want him to hurt her. Also, Melissa is Ian’s alibi for being in Hilton Head, so she is obviously working with him.
All clues point toward “A” being several people and when NYPost asked PLL Showrunner Marlene King about this, she replied, “That’s a legitimate theory.” So if “A” is actually a group of people, it might take the little liars even longer to find out who's stalking them.
