So I ordered a Rebel Micro Sim Pro, with the 32/64 bit programmer on 10 Apr, and I have yet to receive it. My order status just says Payment Received.
Has anyone else ordered a Rebel Micro Sim and received it yet? Is the company legit? They keep posting some crap about holidays and UK Royal Weddings on their site...

I found a huge box filled with Macintosh books. I'm putting them up for sale or trade if anyone wants them. They are $5 for any book or guide on the page, some include floppy disks. Most of the books are small, some are a little bigger than an inch thick. I have no more room for these so ether I sell them here or toss them out.
If you live in central NJ you can pick up the whole box if you wish for a mere $10. Most of the books are in good condition, but, they are used so there may be pages torn or writing on them. I accept Paypal, Check or Money order and will ship within the USA. If you want any of these let me know, thanks! :D You can make me an offer if you don't like the price, I really just want to get them out of the house.

There are currently no viruses for Mac OS X in public circulation, only a handful of trojans and other malware, which have to be installed manually via entering the administrator password.
The only anti-virus you need to protect your Mac is education and common sense.

Just to chime back in on this one - as with the previous poster, the first update to DP2 worked flawlessly for me too. I wonder how/if we'll know when Apple fix the download...?

Yeah, the guy at the Apple Store mentioned that :-)
Technically, they do (or did) want you buy another CD. It's only $29 so it's not a like cheapest version of Windows which is $199.
You can buy Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1 for $99, possibly less.

So I want to create a company email like "info@server.mydomain.com" and then have multiple employees able to read the emails from their respective Mac Mail clients. I tried to use the "enable server group mailing list". The problem is that if I send email to our group like "office-wiki@mydomain.com" the email will go through however the emails only appear in the wiki webpage and not in each employees Mac mail.
so basically is there a way to make a company email that would send the messages to each employee right on their desktops in Mac Mail or do I just set up a new user "info" and have each employee add that account to their Mac Mail apps?
Thanks

I mistakenly put chocolate in my pockets, then an hour after I put my phone in my pocket. When I took my iPhone out it was covered with chocolate. I then proceeded to whip it all off and the phone worked perfectly (still does). Only problem is, is that at the top of the screen where the chocolate covered has these dark spots that is not going away. Can anyone tell me what is this and how can I fix it?
Your phone is turning into chocolate! Better eat it before it melts!

I installed Windows Vista on my Mac Mini and for some reason there is no sound when in I'm Windows. I get sound on the Mac partition but no sound on Windows. I checked Device Manager on the Windows partition and there were no errors for the sound drivers. Any ideas on this one?
um i think if you go into the mac settings, you can decide where the sound will come from, either the mac, or windows itself, in this case choose mac mini, and you should get sound?
just a thought?
hope it works!

An Apple Airport Express should do what you want. It comes with setup instructions for both Mac and Windows and has a connection port for a printer. If you want to save few $$ it is listed in the Apple Store 'SAVE' section (refurbished with same warranty as new) for $99 right now.
i completely agree, the express rocks. and its much cheaper than buying a seperate print server and router (if you were going to go non-apple brand)

2 megs is a lot, but in the age where broadband internet is more accessable and cheaper than it used to be, you can push file sizes a bit especially if your target audience is known to have broadband and flash and even a processor fast enough to display flash at its intended speed.
when you are saving jpgs how are you doing it? save for web from photoshop works great for optimizing your file sizes. also if you imported an image and it started off as 1000x500 and you scaled it down in flash and you will never scale it back up, resize it in photoshop and then re import it at the size it actually belongs.
and as the poster above pointed out, external swfs, jpes and even text if you want to get crazy can be loaded on a need basis.

Hopefully they make Torrents and Rebels for the iPod Touch 4G.
I'm going to guess Apple doesn't want to change the shape of the iPod touch. It's very thin already, and has been established as a capable device.

Anyone heard of this? It is touted as a general fitness program - you should see the muscle-up exercise - and there seems to be an active community on their forums full of people who were happy with the progress and results.
I'm thinking of trying it out. What do you think of it?
Any exercise is good exercise, as long as you don't injure yourself.
Rock on with your bad, soon-to-have-rippling-muscles self!
seems pretty good, just from checking out the site.
O.O THOSE PEOPLE ARE FIT! WOW!

I finally picked up an iSight this weekend, primarily to use as a bar code scanner for Delicious Library. I just wasn't making time for the daunting task of cataloging my DVD's, CD's, books, and video games by typing in bar codes or titles.
If you have a substantial enough collection of any of these items to make Delicious Library an attractive purchase, and you aren't using a camera of some type to capture bar codes, run out now and buy one. It is ridiculously easy to set up and use, and faster to input items by a factor of 10 at least.

This has the potential to rock (so to speak) or fail in a Darwin award winning sort of way. I'm going to wait for the reviews before I plunk down the cash.
