I synced up my iCal with Google Calendar, but now my subscription calendar of a sports team is not showing up on my LockInfo.
Everything else is showing up but that one calendar.
What could be the problem?
Thanks.
Did you add the Calendar in the LockInfo settings?

Who's going to be there at 5pm on April 30th when the 3G iPad comes out? I will. Thinking about getting there around 4pm. Anybody else?

I recently sold my g4 ibook 800mhz with an airport card 250gb hard drive new keyboard and 1.12gb of ram for 300. I made 50 bucks on the deal cuz it only cost me 250 for the ibook and the upgrades. Id say it was worth 300 but no more than that. Last night i bought a mid 2009 macbook for 420 with applecare til 8-12. I feel i got a deal given the average macbook price on craigslist is 600-700 here in detroit. What im saying is for every person trying to charge a premium theres someone desperate selling to the first person that makes an offer. Everyone else falls in between. Those of us who know better pay what an item is worth while the rest pay the premium. Unfortunately theres more of them than there is of us.

That would explain why my Xcode download timed out last night after getting up to ~3GB.
Fricken Apple doesn't understand the concept of bandwidth caps :(
Especially the bandwidth caps down in Middle Earth…
Its days like these that paying $80 for unlimited feels justified.
Jealous. $80 in NZ might get you 30GB if you're lucky.

I have a folder under my username called Movies where I store all of those. To delete the redundant formats, you'll have to locate them through Finder and manually delete them.

I quit iChat to use my other Mac upstairs, while there I logged into iChat. When I was done I came back to my iBook, and opened iChat. Then iChat acted like it was just installed and opened the iChat Assistant thing. All my "Away Messages" are gone, my text style is default and so if my icon. I didn't touch anything and iChat just freaked out. All I did was use iSync to sync my G3 MiniTower and then the iBook. This is odd, anyone else have the same problem??

i am not using windows again, supporting it, or whatever.

How many different cables have you tried?
I've found that even though a cable may look fine, there may still be something wrong with it.
One thing is that the plastic fins can get crushed so upon quick glance the connector looks okay but upon closer inspection if even 1 fin is folded over it could prevent the connection.
Might also look into the port on the computer to ensure all 8 contacts in the Ethernet port are there and aligned correctly.

Unfortunately it's an insurance job, RAC just happen to be the people Elephant use to replace windscreens. So I can't threaten to move to the AA, as I'm not even with RAC to begin with.
Dont know if this will work with UK ins co's, but when my mom's car was repaired, they forgot to mix enough pearl into the paint, and she didn't notice til a week later (when i told her). She went back, and they tried to convince her that it was the same color. I told her to call her Ins co and complain. The repair shop called back the next day, saying they would repaint the entire car, and had a rental ready.
Long story, a bit shorter... call your ins co next if you haven't already.

Damn! That's super important when you're using headphones, as even 1 bar is extremely loud and hurts my ears.

With your clip on the timeline, double click it to load it in the browser. Open the "motion" tab in the browser. There's the controls for zooming in and out of the clip and keyframing that action. Turn on wireframes for your clip in the viewer (view -> image+wireframe).
Thank you very much!

Ok, this is going to sound really silly... but I was just reading about all the people in the iPad forum complaining about their pages in safari reloading. Of course this is due the 512mb of RAM and the way the OS is designed to free up any older space whenever it needs more space.
That got me thinking... I know that Lion is being designed to run more iOS-like, where the OS is in charge of handling RAM. Does this mean that with Lion is there the potential to have the same situation? Obviously Macs have more RAM so the chance of it happening is reduced.
Or along those lines, say I have itunes (or any app) open and "running". If I run enough RAM intensive apps over the next few days without again using iTunes, would Lion ever get to the point where the window would actually close and shut down the app? I know that if you don't have any windows open the app could shut down, but what about if you leave the window open?

So I've just completed the installation of Windows 7 on a Core i7 2.0 15" MBP. Everything works quite fine save for a little booting hitch which was promptly solved via the recovery console.
But something troubles me.
Although everything works quite fine, where is the ATI Control Panel? My last MBP had a GeForce 8400M, and the Windows side had the nVidia Control Panel.
Does this new release not include an ATI Control Panel?
