If you're going to "steal" music just use limewire or soulseek. Why pay someone to steal it for you? I don't understand.
I didn't say I supported AllofMP3's way to do their shady business, I meant that legal downloading should be modelled like AllofMP3 AND that the artists should get paid.

Good advice so far.
One other thing. Photoshop needs a scratch disk. Dedicate the first partition (I think about 50GB?) of one of your fast internal disks as the scratch disk. The drive should not be the one that has your applications, or OS on it. I use the same drive that has my image library. Basically you want the disk to be available only to PS when it needs it.
Good Luck.
If you go with a current Mac Pro, and if you put images on an external drive, make sure it's FW 800 drive. The speed increase over USB is well worth it. Unless it's your back up drive, 'cause nobody cares how long the backup takes at 3am.
Personally, I wouldn't buy a Mac Pro (unless I absolutely needed to) unto the just released Thunder Bolt technology made it into the Mac Pros. The current best info is that TB will not be an add-in card into current Mac Pros.
If the new Mac Pros with TB are too pricey, the older (now the current versions) Mac Pros will be discounted. I think a lot of professionals are going to hold off buying a new Mac Pro until the TB enabled ones come out. Apple is going to need to clear the old stock.
all of this imho, of course.... and worth every penny you paid for it...

Could you drop a URL ?
Here's (http://www.artists-first.net/) one if you're interested in selling music yourself. Mostly indie acts on there, linking from their own web pages. 320kbps MP3 is common.

Steal: To take (the property of another) without right or permission.
When you copy something, you're not taking it. The original is still there.
Steal: to take or appropriate without right or leave and with intent to keep or make use of wrongfully
This would include property, services, etc. By copying songs (software, bandwidth, comic material, etc.), you are essentially taking money that rightfully belongs to the owner of that material, who should have received some sort of royalty payment for the transaction.

HDTVs however, offer great res for a majority of things. I'm using a Samsung one right now while I wait for Apple or Dell to show their '08 hands (hoping for a 2708 or updated ACDs sometime soon) so who knows what point you were trying to make there. Have you even used one??
Yes, I've seen cheap tv's. Do I used one? No. I have a 60" SXRD for movies and a 30" LP3065 for my monitor, as well as an old 19" NEC CRT. My point is, what is a large display going to offer you if the resolution stays the same. So what, you have a 100 foot wide display, that only does 1920. So now everything on the screen is the size of a car. I guess one could argue gaming, but for everything else, especially anything with fine text is going to look like garbage. You think it's just coincidence a 24" TV costs less than a 24" monitor?

I just got a revelation, iPhone mini in WWDC, iPhone 5 in september or january.
The iPhone mini will deprecate the 3Gs still on sale, and will stop the stocks from going down because the missed release cycle.

AirDrop appeared in Finder with the original Dev Preview. When I upgraded to Developer Preview 2, AirDrop was gone. I figured it was some sort of bug, and when I did the Dev Preview 2 Update that was released today, I figured it would return - but I was wrong!
Any idea on how to bring AirDrop back into the Favorites area of the Finder sidebar?? It's not even an option in the Finder Preferences Sidebar section!
I just checked and it is still there for me after the update. I would say file a bug report. I don't know of a way to make reappear.

Hey,
Ive been having great speed losses and only just figured out why.
I do a speed test while im next to the router... give's speeds of 48meg. I ran this a few times and all were 47-49meg.
I then went into my bedroom and speed tests ranged from 11meg-20meg....i did this a few times... then went back to the same room as the router and speeds again were 47-49meg.
So looks like a distance issue... howevever... i live in a bungalow and the distance from me to the router is about 10 meters (if i was to ignore the 2 walls inbetween). However my laptop shows full 5 bars (the maxium) for signal.
Im using the standard virgin media N router (Dlink)
Any suggestions? Ive tried going on different channels but still the same issue is present.

Doesnt work.
People that used the latest PdaNet still got the notice.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work, those people could have been using MyWi or TetherMe before switching to PdaNet. Granted, I don't think the method PdaNet uses helps at all.

Alternatively, you could create a third partition on your laptop and format it as FAT32 or exFAT and keep all of your data on there so both Windows and Mac and read & write the files.
Hmm, FAT32 only allows for 4GB, right? Anyway, can you please tell me how this can be achieved? Links would be appreciated :)
I haven't found anything that works well for Windows. I would recommend that you give MacDrive a try or look a Paragon. Both are well maintained and if there is an issue have tools to help you repair the partition.
I see, but like i said, MacDrive is paid.. So is Paragon.. i need a free version, if you know of any. thanks :D
Side note: Did you know that NTFS Mounter works perfectly for and quietly for writing NTFS from HFS?
Cheers :)

So let me get this straight:
1: ATT will not unlock your iphone no matter what
2: Foreign carriers are not allowed to unlock my ATT iPhone
3: I'm better off buying a another phone when I go to Europe
