Carrie Underwood Gives Phone Number to 'American Idol' Winners!

Carrie Underwood won American Idol way back in Season 4, but that doesn't mean the gorgeous country singer doesn't still feel connected to the show!
The recently married Underwood attended this year's finale and during an interview revealed that she actually gave her phone number to some of the winners that came after her - but none of them ever called!
"I've done this every year, by the way, and no one ever calls me," she said. "I think David Cook is the only one I've managed to become friends with and we swap stories and talk about stuff, but nobody every calls me.  So maybe [the winner of season 10] will."

That winner is Scotty McCreery, and being a country singer himself, maybe Underwood has finally found someone she can help mentor!  Had runner-up Lauren Alaina gotten crowned the winner, it would have been a great pairing for Underwood, especially since the duo already performed her hit Before He Cheats at the Idol finale.
Either way, it would definitely be extremely helpful for the American Idol winners to get help from someone who has gone through it in the past and has become extremely successful, like Carrie has, so it's shocking that no one has taken the opportunity to give her a call!
For now, though, Carrie is enjoying her married life to her hockey player husband Mike Fisher, but we can't wait to hear some new tunes from her!
They may not get a big record deal or reach the superstar status they desire, but being one of the top 11 finalist onAmerican Idol definitely has its perks. This summer the top 11 finalist will head out on the American Idol Live Tourand TMZ has obtained the contract that entails just how much they'll be making.

The contract states that each Idol contestant that participates in the tour will be paid $1000 per show, share the merchandise profits from the tour and receive $50 spending cash on days off. They will stay in "Marriott/ Hyatt style" hotels while on tour and fly coach.
The tour begins this July and will run through September and although the pay not seem like a lot compared to amount of cash today's stars bring in, I don't think we'll hear any complaining from the finalist.
