Mazal tov to Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster who got married this past Saturday. An announcement on Stewart’s website read: “Penny Lancaster and Rod Stewart married at sunset on Saturday, June 16 in a cloistered medieval abbey at La Cervara near Portofino, Italy. The couple exchanged vows in the presence of 100 family and friends. A reception followed overlooking the exquisite coast of Santa Margherita. Dinner, dancing, and fireworks lasted until the early hours as the newlyweds, who succeeded in keeping their special day private, went off on a Mediterranean holiday.”
Stewart won’t betaking much time off. He has a concert planned for Diana on July 1st. Lancaster’s Princess Cut Engagement Ring is rumored to cost between £50,000 and £125,000. New Idea reported that Lancaster had to call a plumber to fish the ring out of the pipes after she accidentally dropped it down the sink.
