Have you checked HotScripts (http://www.hotscripts.com)? Personally I'd use PHP.

i'd hope someone who is able to code to figure out to google his answer especially for something like an asp shopping cart....

For the love of God, people: bass quantity does not equal bass quality. Also, I think it's very funny that somebody wants to get good headphones and is willing to spend a whopping 28 or 32 dollars! :o

    Hello everyone.

Has anyone find it necessary to close and re-open Chrome, iTunes, and Finder on Mac OSX (SL) from time to time? This applies only if you never turn off your Mac.

Every once in a while I find it necessary to restart Chrome to reduce memory usage, especially if I have a lot of open tabs with Flash video. If left unchecked, some tabs will start crashing.

Same thing with iTunes, when memory usage goes haywire, the app store iPhone/iPad screen shots will not load.

Finally, I need to relaunch Finder when folder icons starts disappearing. This would be akin to re-springing in iOS which also help releasing memory.

I hate to have to resort to installing more system memory just for the memory leaks. I wonder if other users have similar experience. Hopefully OSX Lion Finder will be improved.

Using the whole page whould be pointless. There's lot of stuff there that's irrelevant to Mac users. We could make one of our own, but keep it a bit simpler and just have a link to Wikipedia for the more technical stuff (for those who is interested).

    IMO.

    I was in 2nd period (Eng :( ) in 6th grade.

Weird I was In the 6th grade 2nd hour but was in social studies. It was just weird becuase earlyer that summer I was there. 1/3 the people in my school had no clue what the towers were before 9/11 so someof them were acting so immature ( ) while others were crying.

"(edit) in the import settings it is set as ''Store files: in the aperture library'' "

Which means that Aperture has created masters in it's own library; and is not referencing your original files for it's masters.

Personally I do both; I have Aperture manage in the Aperture library - but I still keep all my original files as backups - AND I have backups of those on yet another drive.

Every iPhone thread leaves me amazed at how complacent Americans are in accepting terrible mobile telephony. When's the last time (in Europe) that you had a "dropped call"? I had to look up the term because it meant nothing to me. If the iPhone is going to work properly, then someone needs to give assurances that your calls will actually go through. Forget about downloading songs on the go for a moment, and consider the intended purpose of a phone. If I want to make a call, it means that I need to get through and actually end up talking to someone; not that I want to try to call someone. Don't get me wrong, I'd love an iPhone. I'm just glad I live in a country where your calls go through, and stay going until you terminate it. And what's with this paying for incoming minutes thing? The payment should be the responsibility of the person doing the calling. At least, that's how it seems to work over here.

I can't say I'm not surprised, but I'm glad we have other options (that run well) at this time. I just hope this doesn't carry over to Microsoft Office (which has a separate Mac team from Vista I understand)

Bingo. You win the grand prize.

Seriously though, okay I went into System Preferences:Network:Proxies and turned passive back on, applied it, turned passive back on in Fetch and it is now working.

This still leaves the mystery question of why it worked on some of my accounts (blacklightning) while not working on others (sugarmtnfarm). They are all hosted on the same server.

And why the Post and List commands only on the failing FTPs?

Perhaps not everyone is awake when you posted. Asking for advice then calling people names doesn't encourage people to help you.

Has anybody considered either waiting until like, Monday, or maybe ordering online?

Spending hours in line to buy something (that isn't even on sale or discounted) just doesn't make all that much sense to me. I guess I value my time too much.

I have a mint condition, barely used original Airport card. nothing is occuping the card. Should I keep the card for a few years then try to sell and makes some big bucks because they are already rare? Or, should I just go sell now and make $130 or something like that.

Sorry if it doesn't sound right or punctuation is wrong... I just woke up :o

Well there would be no harm waiting till the Christmas season. Give it 2 months and get one in December - most likley any updates will have happened by then (if any are going to happen).

Possible they could get a small speed bump quietly like the mini .

Went to BestBuy today and had a sales person tell me not to buy a mini but get an imac........he said the speed was too slow compaired to the imac. Also that by the time I paid for mouse, monitor, keyboard I would have the same about of money invested. Just wanted some opinions?
    Thanks

Whoohoo! One of the first replies!

I'm watching the webcast now... already updated iTunes and looks very coool so far!

And... OMG... Steve's wearing a black dress shirt instead of a turtleneck!

Anybody know if the new iPod search features are going to work for existing iPods? So far I can't find it on my 60G that I just also updated...
