Vanessa Hudgens pretty much invented boho chic (oh, wait, maybe that was the Olsen Twins…), so the 70′s-inspired outfit she sported while out shopping in California last week — fringed vest, lace bell-bottoms — wasn’t exactly out of character for V. But, call us crazy, we can’t help but think that Vanessa was wearing this ensemb as prep for her rumored new role as a “pregnant, homeless teen.” Come on. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Vanessa is in “final negotiations” to star in the indie flick Gimme Shelter, where she’ll play “a pregnant, homeless teen who flees her abusive mother and seeks out her biological father.” Sounds like a major career switch for the HSM star, don’tcha think? But a fashion switch? Not so much.
