Tek, is there plenty of room for 2 ssd's? I want to remove the optical, put the ssd there and put a ssd in place of the hard drive or maybe use a 7200 rpm drive in place of the slow hard drive.

Awesome...thanks!
So, just to be clear, I need to format the opti-bay drive partition as NTFS so Windows can read it?
You'll need to create a new partition using Disk Utility. Once Win7 is up and running, just reformat it as NTFS.

If you really want to see something wild, put some mosquito larvae in with it. Dragonfly nymphs are predators, and they'll take small invertebrates like other insect larvae (especially mosquito "wigglers"), or even small vertebrates like tadpoles. You might have to move the wigglers in front of the nymph, but if the nymph attacks, you're in for a shocker.

It seems that we will have to wait for the official word from Apple. I hope that it isn't closed for good though.

Go legit. You answered your own question, then, un-answered it.
"I have no problem buying legitimate copies of these Apps..."
"how I can fix this problem short of... ... buying the legitimate versions..."
Now, un-jailbreak your phone so you can stop ripping off software for juvenile kicks ( oooh, boobies!!!), like you said:
"most of them were ones people paid a small fee for"
But not you, 'cause you're special.

My Apple wireless keyboard lasts 2-3 months on regular AA batteries.
If your wireless keyboard was backlit you'd have to replace the batteries every second day or so...
:( Mine doesn't last that long, but I guess I do use it alot!! And I never turn it off, or my computer!

Is there any way I could delete the windows partition and have another shot at installing it?
And is it best to download the support software, instead of relying on the disc?
Reopen Boot Camp Assistant and it has the option to restore your drive. I think that you have to install from the disk first (to prove that you own it), but then run Apple Software Update from the Windows side to upgrade to the latest version.

There is no way to change the graphics chip on ANY iMac. They are all soldered to the logic board.
More RAM + faster harddrive is about all you can do.

You could take all the things people hate about gamertags, and then be really ironic and thus the coolest mofo on XBL :p
So... random Xs, random numbers, lots of l33t, the usage of a famous character's name as though it were your own... *and off the gamertag machine goes...*

Hey everyone I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, so if it isn't please point me in the right direction.
Anyhow I recently "found" a Macintosh TV, did a fresh install of System 7.1, hooked up my Genesis and... it seems like I'm missing half the frames per second. Both RF and video in have the same problem.
I've changed the very limited options in both TV Setup and Monitors and I still have the same problem. Will installing 7.6 change anything or am I stuck missing half the frames?
EDIT: Ok it's not half the frames missing but it's still noticeable. Also is there a way to adjust the picture quality, the video in is extremely blurry with multicolored artifacts everywhere.

i am interested in the ram from the powermac, is it two 512mb sticks or 4 256mb sticks or a 1Gb stick, if it is a 512mb i am definitely interested for my dad!
I'd rather keep the PM G4 intact but I'll let you know if I part it out.

This is all interesting news.
I may have to try folding on my Macbook C2D! I am not a big production output guy, and my G5 has been down and out of folding to save on power, and wear ;) .

I honestly havnen't had good luck with the mac clients. I LOVE the GPU clients on regular PC's. There is just so much more PPD available with a GPU client.
Zack
yeah, i've had bad luck with the mac clients also. i would try the GPU clients, but my video card isn't supported.
