Ashley Olsen wears an all black ensemble while leaving a building on Thursday (May 26) in New York City.

The day before, the 24-year-old fashion designer was spotted outside a Manhattan hotel chatting on her cell phone.

Ashley recently revealed her style isn’t necessarily about trends but rather practicality.

“That moment for us was us waking up, going to school, and not wanting anyone to take our picture. It was kind of a piece of protection,” she explained about her layered look.

As for twin sis Mary-Kate, “For me, New York was so cold, like the wind chill. How could you not put on 20 things when you’re going from Los Angeles to walking through the snow? I think it was probably that. And laziness.”
