Nick Jonas Supports His Big Brother's Solo Debut!

Nick Jonas may be the youngest of the Jonas Brothers, but he was the first of the three to venture out on his own with the release of a solo album last year.
Unfortunately, Nick's album didn't do as well with critics and fans as expected, but that hasn't stopped his older brotherJoe Jonas from attempting to fly solo.  And despite Nick's not so successful solo attempt, he is still supportive of his big bro!

While the rest of us won't get to hear Joe's new album for a few more months, Nick has had the chance to give it a listen and he recently gave his positive feedback about it to MTV News.
"Joe's record is really coming together nicely," Nick said.  "It's been kind of a process for him to create it, and he's taking his time, which I think is important.  But it's really a quality record.  I listened to it in the car and I was just loving it!"
The reason Joe has been putting so much time and effort into his solo record is because he is going for a very different vibe with the music than he previously has with the Jonas Brothers.  While he and his brothers used to produce a very pop-rock sound, Joe previously revealed that he is going more for an urban, electronic beat that fans can dance to.  He is even teaming up with Chris Brown for a song on the new album which will definitely add a new element to his sound!

"I'm excited for him," Nick continued. "I think he'll have a great year and I'm looking forward to people hearing the music."
Joe has been spending a lot of time in the recording studio lately and working on creating a buzz for the album, but no specific release date has been confirmed just yet.
